Center Programs
Learn. Pray. Act.
Our efforts are guided by those three words. Our programs focus on helping members of the faith community learn about the issues challenging our communities, discern how people can create change, and act to make Virginia a more just and compassionate Commonwealth. We embrace this cycle to understand, to channel the power of people of conscience, and to advocate for the most vulnerable in our society.
The Center's programs educate the public and strengthen our voice, and help solve solve social problems by empowering emerging social enterprise. They include:
Virginia Interfaith Power and Light
, our environmental justice program;
The Campaign for Healthy Kids in the New River Valley
, working to eliminate childhood obesity; and
Enterprise Virginia
, our social enterprise microlending program.
