Over the past 35 years the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy has been blessed with many wonderful volunteers, people who we count on because we have such a small staff. We’re always on the lookout for additional volunteers. If our work is something you feel good about getting involved in, we’re love to talk to you. ┬áHere are some typical needs:

  • Regularly update and work on our database;

  • Assist the Executive Director in scheduling meetings for her and board members with prospective donors;

  • Work with our communications director in developing short articles on issues for denominational publications;

  • Help build a new team to figure out how congregations can address criminal justice issues in┬áVirginia;

  • Help us reach out to congregations;

  • Help organize a worker center in Richmond by serving on the planning team;

  • Work on the team developing a living wage certification program;

  • Help with our special events (mainly the Annual Meeting and the Day for All People).
