Resources for Congregations - congregations are invited to use these valuable resources to promote compassion by dedicating a bulletin board at church to education. Each month the Virginia Interfaith Center will be sending out innovative ideas for bulletin boards that help congregations to learn about issues, discern how our sacred texts call us to act, and then to take practical actions of solidarity for the sake of the others.

Mental Health Parity- also known as “equal coverage laws,” insures that all disorders physical and mental receive equal coverage from insurance companies and health care providers. Currently most insurance coverage plans treat physical and mental disorders differently, resulting in clients receiving less than equal coverage.
