Reggie Gordon is a native of Richmond, Virginia. He attended Richmond public schools and was very active in youth leadership programs as a teen with the American Red Cross at the local and national level. He continued his education and went on to receive an undergraduate degree in Public Policy from Duke University in Durham, NC and a law degree from Howard University School of Law in Washington D.C.
In his professional career, Reggie has been employed by Virginia Legal Aid as a Staff Attorney; American National Red Cross as a Senior Associate General Counsel and Ethics Officer; United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg as a fund developer; Homeward, as its Executive Director, and currently, as the Executive Director of William Byrd Community House in Richmond, Virginia.
Reggie is a member of the Virginia State Bar; Board, Leadership Metro Richmond; Board, Virginia Blood Services; Board, Hollybrook Housing Corporation; Member, Richmond Community Criminal Justice Board; Member, Local Advisory Council for Virginia LISC and a member of the Homeward Executive Director’s Network.
