Now that the Governor has signed the budget that includes Medicaid expansion, there’s a new web page with information on adult eligibility called coverva.org. There will also be an FAQ document and a screening tool. The state will be providing additional outreach materials including a brochure, a webinar and other outreach and educational tools.
On this website you can learn about Virginia’s Medicaid and FAMIS programs for children, pregnant women and adults. You can also get information about health insurance options available through the Federal Marketplace. You can apply online or search for someone who can assist you with your application.
