Mr. Michael Riley is an activist for food justice, equity, and sustainability. He speaks and writes frequently about the connection between faith, food, and the environment. Riley is co-founder and executive director of Slow Money Central Virginia, a non-profit focused on supporting sustainable and organic farms in Virginia. He is in formation to become a professed Secular Franciscan as a member of the Mount La Verna Fraternity, based at Church of the Incarnation, a Catholic parish in Charlottesville. Riley is a member of the steering committee for Virginia Interfaith Power & Light.
