JAB Initiative

We recognize that our medical system has a history of discrimination and mistreatment toward communities of color.  The JAB initiative works toward addressing and healing the wounds of this harmful history and making the COVID-19 vaccine more accessible and ethical in communities of color.  We focus on three main principles of ethics in health care: Justice, Autonomy, and Beneficence.  Together, we can inject an antidote into the conversation about vaccine hesitancy.

Check out our brochure for an overview of these principles. Get a deeper understanding in our JAB Talk series featuring historic case descendants, advocates on the forefront, and innovative health care professionals.
